Contact State on your landing pages
In UK lead generation, the questions about a lead come from the buyer's compliance team and, behind them, the regulators: where did this person come from, what did they see, what did they agree to. Contact State Certify answers them with a certificate, a record of provenance created on the page when the form is submitted. Contact State is built into LanderLab and configured with the Landing Page ID Contact State gives you, so the Certify script runs on your page with nothing to code.
Think of it as the UK counterpart to TrustedForm and Jornaya. Where US buyers ask for a TrustedForm certificate or a LeadiD token as TCPA consent proof, life and health insurers, protection brokers and mortgage and equity release firms in the UK work with Contact State. If a buyer's onboarding asks for Contact State certification, your LanderLab pages can meet it.
Contact State certificates on your landing page leads
Contact State built its business on the idea that consumer data should change hands with a receipt. Certify creates that receipt when the visitor submits your form: a certificate recording the provenance of the data, the journey and the consent, made by a third party rather than by the seller.
The model is built around the handover. A certificate is claimed for a particular buyer, and once claimed it shows in that buyer's Contact State platform. Contact State recommends that seller and buyer both keep the certificate URL, so they share one point of reference whenever a lead is questioned.
Lead certification for UK insurance, mortgages and equity release
Contact State calls itself a life and health insurance specialist, and works with mortgage and equity release firms too. These are markets where the FCA's Consumer Duty, ICO enforcement and Google's verification rules for financial advertisers have made buyers far more careful about where their leads come from.
For a lead seller, certification is the price of entry to those buyers. A protection broker that only buys certified leads won't take an uncertified one at any price, so pages without it limit who you can sell to.
Privacy built in: hashed data and no default cookies
Contact State is designed so that certifying a lead doesn't spread the consumer's details. Data is hashed with SHA-256 in the browser, transfer happens over TLS, and Contact State looks for patterns in the hashes instead of reading names and numbers. Certify sets no cookies unless cookie analytics are turned on with the visitor's consent.
Contact State also asks that visitors are told it's operating on the form before they press submit, and can add that notice text itself. It's one more line of transparency on a page whose whole point is to prove how the lead was collected.
Certified, traced and judged on outcomes
Next to the certificate, every lead in LanderLab carries the page URL, the A/B variant, the visitor's IP and the submit time, and hidden fields keep the UTMs and the affiliate's sub ID. When a buyer questions a lead, you can trace it to the source and the variant behind it.
Contact State closes the loop from the buyer's side. Buyers can push sales statuses back to Contact State, from quoted and sold to ineligible, hoax or duplicate, turning certificates into performance data. And LeadByte, one of LanderLab's built-in delivery integrations, is listed by Contact State as supporting Contact State Certify.
