Solar leads that clear the installer's checks before they post.
Renters, low bills and shaded roofs are why installers return solar leads. Ask the homeowner, bill and shade questions in a quiz, stop the misfits at the page, and post the rest to your buyers with the consent certificate attached.
Free forever plan. No card required.
A solar quiz you can answer on a phone, beside the page in LanderLab: its navigation rules and the lead your answers make. Renters, bills under $100, heavy shade and homes that already have solar go to a Not a fit step and are never posted; a homeowner who qualifies is posted to LeadProsper with a TrustedForm certificate.
See if your home is a fit for solar.
Four quick questions. A local installer sends your options.
Do you own your home?
Step 2 of 5
What's your average monthly power bill?
Step 3 of 5
That's about $3,000 a year to your utility.
How much shade does your roof get?
Step 4 of 5
Does your home already have solar panels?
Thanks, Maya.
A local installer will call you with your options.
Thanks for checking.
Solar isn't the right fit for this home right now, so we won't pass your details on.
Answer as a renter, or with a shaded roof, and watch the lead stop at the page.
Returns
Six reasons a solar lead comes back, and the fix for each.
Installers return leads for the same few reasons: renters, low bills, shaded roofs, wrong numbers, no proof of consent. Each has a fix in LanderLab, most before the lead ever posts.
Conditional Navigation
Renters
Ask “Own or rent” first. Each answer gets its own next step, so “I rent” goes to a thank-you step and never reaches the form.
A rule on the answer
Low bills
Put the bill in bands and send the band under your buyer's minimum to the same step. Each band's value still feeds your formula.
Image Choice
Shaded roofs
Ask about shade with pictures the homeowner can't misread, and give “Heavy shade” a path of its own.
Phone Validation and OTP
Wrong numbers
A badly formatted number can't move the visitor on. For more, the OTP block texts a code and waits for it, at $0.09 per verification on paid plans.
AI Lead Insights
Duplicates
Insights reads the Leads tab and flags duplicate entries and odd submit patterns. It spots them rather than blocks them, so you find them before your buyer does.
The difference
A one-step form lets renters through. A quiz qualifies homeowners.
A solar quiz screens out renters and low bills before an installer pays for the lead, and sends the bill and the address with it.
The old way
- “The installer returned another renter.”
- “The installer is asking for the bill again.”
- “Proof of consent? I hope someone screenshotted it.”
- “Who's posting the leads sitting in that sheet?”
The LanderLab way
- “Renters and $80 bills leave on a step of their own.”
- “The bill photo and the address arrive with the lead.”
- “Every lead carries its TrustedForm certificate.”
- “Pinged with the ZIP, posted the moment a buyer bids.”
01Collect
File upload
Homeowners upload a photo or PDF of their power bill inside the quiz. JPEG, PNG, HEIC and PDF up to 30 MB, saved with the lead.
02Address
Google Address Autocomplete
The address field suggests real addresses as the homeowner types, so installers get a street and ZIP they can look up. One Google Places key covers every page.
03Translate
AI translation
Translate the solar page and quiz for Spanish-speaking homeowners instead of rebuilding the funnel. AI translation is on every plan, Free included.
Offer changes
The incentive changed. Change it on every landing page at once.
The federal residential credit isn't available for systems placed in service after December 31, 2025, so every page that still leads with it is out of date. Put the offer bar in a global block, edit it once, and every state landing page shows the new line when you publish.

Pick a new line
- Need one state different? Detach the block on that page.
- Rewriting a single page? Replace Texts or the AI Assistant does it in place.
Six state landing pages that share the offer bar; California's has it detached.
Your buyers
Post to the systems your buyers already run.
LeadProsper and LeadsPedia take Direct Post or Ping-Post, Phonexa and LeadByte take real-time posts, and the certificate travels with every lead.
The math
On a solar payout, every extra lead counts.
Put in your spend, your cost per click, what a buyer pays you per lead and the lift you expect from a better page. The payout is yours to set.

- 01
Build the quiz with AI
Describe the offer, the states and the questions. The quiz builder lays out the steps, the inputs and the logic, and you edit them by hand.
- 02
Add the checks and your buyer
Switch on phone validation, add TrustedForm or Jornaya, and connect LeadProsper, LeadsPedia, Phonexa or a webhook with the fields your buyer's spec asks for.
- 03
Publish and send traffic
Publish on your own domain with SSL, pass the click ID through to every link, and watch drop-off for each step of the quiz.
Before you start
Can I stop renters and low bills before the lead posts?
Yes. Put the homeowner and bill questions on Multiple Choice or Image Choice blocks and turn on Conditional Navigation. Each answer gets its own next step, so renters and bills under your buyer's minimum go to a different end step and never reach the contact form. Advanced Conditional Logic adds AND / OR rules across several answers, with a fallback path.
Does every lead carry a TrustedForm certificate or a Jornaya LeadiD?
Yes, on every page you add it to. Set up TrustedForm or Jornaya once and reuse it on any page. The script records the session and the consent language shown, and on submit the certificate URL or LeadiD token is saved with the lead and passed on to your buyer.
Can I ping-post to installers and aggregators?
Yes, through LeadProsper or LeadsPedia, which connect with Direct Post or Ping-Post. The ping sends partial data such as the ZIP or the state so buyers can bid, and the full lead is posted when a bid is accepted. Phonexa and LeadByte take real-time posts, and any other system takes a webhook.
Can homeowners upload their power bill?
Yes. The File Upload block accepts images and documents, JPEG, PNG, HEIC and PDF among them, up to 30 MB per submission. Make it required or optional, and the file is saved with the lead.
Can the quiz show an estimate from the bill?
Yes, with Formulas. Combine numeric answers with math, set the decimals and a fallback, and show the result in the text of a later step. You write the formula, so the assumptions are yours.
What happens when a homeowner quits halfway?
On Scale and Enterprise, what they entered is kept as a partial lead. Inactivity Auto-Submit can also send it to your integration after a set time, and the quiz's drop-off table shows which step loses the most people.
Which plan do I need?
Quiz funnels come with Launch, at $89 a month or $69 billed yearly. A/B testing, CSV export and API and MCP access come with Grow, partial leads with Scale. Every plan has unlimited leads, with no per-lead fee.
