Qualify every demo request before it reaches sales.

Your LinkedIn and Google Ads clicks land on a form that asks company size and timeline one step at a time. Small teams go to the free trial. The rest land in HubSpot and ping sales in Slack as they submit, with the click that paid for them on the contact.

A demo request page reached from a LinkedIn ad. Its form asks company size, timeline and a work email, one step at a time, and routes each prospect: small teams to the free trial signup, buyers with a timeline to the booking page with their answers on the link, researchers to a buyer's guide, personal email addresses to a work email step. Beside it, what each submit set off: the HubSpot contact, the Slack message, the Gmail confirmation and the redirect.

Before and after

Long forms lose clicks. Short forms send sales the wrong leads.

The old way

  • “Sales just called back a student with a Gmail.”
  • “Paid clicks gave up at the sixth field.”
  • “The demo request sat in an inbox overnight.”
  • “The CRM says Paid Search. That's all it says.”
  • “The campaign page is still waiting on the web team.”

The LanderLab way

  • “Gmail addresses go to the free trial, not to sales.”
  • “One question per step. Partials keep their answers.”
  • “The rep was pinged in Slack as they submitted.”
  • “The gclid, UTMs and variant are on the contact.”
  • “Built it with AI, live on our subdomain today.”

Qualification

Decide who gets a sales call before the calendar fills.

Each answer can send the prospect down its own path, and a rule can read the email field too. Small teams go to the trial, researchers get the guide, and buyers with a timeline get the calendar, with their answers on the booking link.

Show the path for

The form's logic: company size, then timeline, then the work email. A company of 1 to 10 leaves after the first step for the free trial signup; just researching leaves after the second for the buyer's guide; after the third, a personal email goes to the work email step and everyone else to the booking page.

  • Values your CRM can sort on

Each choice shows the prospect one label and sends your CRM another, so company size arrives as a value you can filter on.

  • Partial leads

Partial leads keep every answer given before they left, on Scale and Enterprise. Inactivity Submission can send them to your CRM after a pause you set.

  • Drop-off per step

Sessions, exits and drop-off rate for every step of the form, per variant, on the page's Overview.

Speed to lead

Set up the follow-up before the first lead arrives.

HubSpot creates or updates the contact, Slack posts it to sales and Gmail confirms it from the rep's inbox. A workflow then sorts the lead by company size. Workflows is in beta.

The Runs view of a published workflow, Demo requests by company size: a Lead trigger on the demo request pages, a Filter that lets only work emails through, then a Switch on company size that sends 201 and up to HubSpot, 11 to 200 to an ActiveCampaign nurture and the rest to Google Sheets. New runs come in beside the canvas; pick one to see its path.

01Track

Hidden fields for click IDs

Name a hidden field after a URL parameter and it's saved with the lead and sent to your CRM. A deal that closes three months later still shows its gclid and campaign.

  • gclid, li_fat_id and your UTMs in hidden fields
  • LL Lander URL and LL Variant ID mapped to HubSpot properties
  • Pass Through URL Params keeps them on every link

02Test

A/B testing

Test the long form against the multi-step one on the same URL. Map LL Variant ID to your CRM and pick the winner by the leads sales accepts, not by form fills.

  • On Grow, Scale and Enterprise
  • One URL for your ads, no redirect
  • Set the winner as the main variant

  • Webinar registration

The date, a countdown and a short form, with a confirmation from your Gmail.

  • Comparison page

FAQ

Questions about B2B.

Anything not here is in the Help Center, or ask us.

Before you start

Can I keep personal email addresses off the sales calendar?

Yes, with a rule you add. Email verification only checks that an address is properly formatted. To divert personal addresses, add a rule to the step: when the email field contains any of gmail.com, yahoo.com or outlook.com, send them to a step of your choice, like a free trial or a prompt for a work email.

Does it work with HubSpot and Salesforce?

HubSpot natively, Salesforce through the webhook integration, straight or through a Make scenario. HubSpot connects by sign-in: every lead creates a contact with the fields you map, or updates the contact that already has that email, and LanderLab's own fields like the page URL and the variant ID can map to properties too. The webhook sends JSON or form-encoded data with your own headers. Pipedrive creates a person and opens a lead.

How fast does sales hear about a demo request?

As soon as it's submitted. The Slack integration posts every lead to the channel you choose, and HubSpot gets the contact in real time. Gmail can email the rep and send the prospect a confirmation from the rep's own inbox, so replies go straight back to them.

Can prospects book a meeting right after the form?

Yes. End the form on your booking page with a Custom URL and turn on Forward URL Parameters and Include Quiz Data, so the answers ride along on the link; booking tools that read name and email from the URL open with them filled in. You can also embed the calendar on a step with the Custom Code element.

Will the gclid and the LinkedIn click ID stay with the lead?

Yes. Add hidden fields named gclid, li_fat_id and your UTM parameters. Their values are read from the URL, saved with the lead and sent to your CRM with the rest of the answers. LinkedIn adds li_fat_id to the URL when enhanced conversion tracking is on in your Insight Tag.

What about prospects who quit halfway?

On Scale and Enterprise, partial leads keep every answer given before they left, marked Partial in your leads. Inactivity Submission can also send what they entered to your CRM after a pause you set; the docs suggest at least 90 seconds.

Can I test a long form against a multi-step one?

Yes, on Grow, Scale and Enterprise. Both variants share one URL and rotate server side, so the ad's destination doesn't change: you don't edit the ad or reset its learning. Map the variant ID to your CRM to compare them by accepted leads, not just by submits.

How do I add the LinkedIn Insight Tag?

Paste it into the page's custom code, or into the domain's global scripts so every page on that domain loads it. Pages that are already live get it when you republish.
