n8n on your landing pages
n8n is the automation tool for teams that would rather own the machine: run it on your own server, write JavaScript in a node when the drag-and-drop runs out, and keep lead data inside your infrastructure. Every lead from a LanderLab landing page or quiz funnel can start an n8n workflow.
n8n's Webhook node gives a workflow an address, and the page's Webhook integration posts each lead to it. The webhook node can require a header, a login or a token, and LanderLab can send custom headers, so only your pages can start the workflow.
An n8n workflow that starts on every lead
Each lead reaches the workflow with the fields you picked, under the names you chose, plus LanderLab's own: the page URL, the visitor IP, the submission time and the A/B variant.
From there it's your canvas: IF and Switch nodes to route by state or answer, HTTP requests to buyers, database writes, a message to the team. The Webhook node can respond as soon as the request arrives, before the rest of the workflow runs.
Why n8n pricing suits high-volume lead gen
Per-task pricing punishes exactly what lead gen workflows do: many small steps on many cheap leads. n8n Cloud bills an execution, a single run of the whole workflow, however many steps it has. Self-hosted, the Community Edition costs you the server and nothing per lead.
For an operator moving thousands of leads a week through enrichment, dedupe and routing, that difference is the reason to choose n8n over a per-step tool.
Header auth so only your pages can start it
A webhook address on the open internet is an invitation. n8n's Webhook node can require basic auth, header auth or a JWT, and LanderLab's webhook can send custom headers, so you set a secret header once on both sides and any request without it is turned away.
Self-hosted n8n for lead data you'd rather keep
Agencies with client data rules, insurance and legal intake operators, and anyone who'd rather not send phone numbers through another vendor's cloud can run n8n on their own server. The lead goes from the page to your instance and on to the systems you choose, and LanderLab keeps its own copy in the Leads tab unless you turn on Lead Compliance Delivery.
