Pinterest Tag on your landing pages
Pinterest traffic arrives early in a decision: a kitchen being imagined, a wedding being planned, a room being redone. Those visitors are worth capturing as leads, and Pinterest can find more of them, but only if the lead event reaches Pinterest from your landing page.
On LanderLab the Pinterest tag's base code runs from the page's or domain's custom code, and the lead event fires when the form or quiz is submitted. The event can carry a lead type taken from a quiz answer, so Pinterest knows which projects your leads are about.
It fits home improvement, interior design, weddings and events, food and DTC offers: categories where people plan on Pinterest and a quiz is the natural first step.
Pinterest lead tracking on landing pages
Pinterest's tag has two parts: base code that loads on every page and reports visits, and event code for the actions you care about. On a lead page, that action is the lead event, fired when the form or quiz is actually submitted.
Once Pinterest sees leads, conversion campaigns can optimize on them, and the cost per lead in Ads Manager is something you can check against the leads in LanderLab.
Quiz answers that tell Pinterest what the lead wants
A remodel quiz already asks which room. Send that answer as the lead event's lead_type and the conversions in Pinterest split by project, so you can see that kitchen leads come cheap from one ad group and bathroom leads from another.
The full answers still go to your CRM or sheet with the lead, along with the page, the variant and the UTMs, through whichever LanderLab integration you use.
Long planning cycles, kept warm
A visitor who reads your design quiz in March may hire someone in June. The tag's audiences let you stay in front of the people who visited but didn't submit, and of the leads themselves with a different offer, without paying cold prices again.
Test the landing page, keep the tag
Run a short quiz against a longer one, or a before-and-after gallery against a price calculator. With the base code at the domain level, every variant reports to Pinterest, and the LL Variant ID on each lead tells you which version produced the jobs.
