Constant Contact on your landing pages
Local businesses buy a lot of paid traffic: the HVAC company before the first cold snap, the dentist with a new-patient offer, the gym in January. Most of them already email their customers from Constant Contact. The weak spot is the handoff, because new leads from ads live somewhere else until someone moves them.
Constant Contact's API works with sign-in tokens that expire within a day, which makes a plain webhook a poor fit, so the dependable route runs through Zapier or Make. LanderLab's New Lead trigger in Zapier, or a Make scenario fed by the page's webhook, starts on every lead, and a Constant Contact step adds the contact to your list with the answers and the campaign that brought it.
It suits local businesses, nonprofits and the agencies that run their ads, especially the ones already paying for Zapier or Make for other jobs.
Paid leads in your Constant Contact lists
Each lead from a LanderLab page lands in the list you pick, with Constant Contact's contact fields filled: email, name, phone and address, plus custom fields for anything specific to the offer. A lead from the tune-up page sits next to the customers you already email, with the service they asked for on the contact.
Run a list per audience rather than per ad. Your Google and Meta campaigns can change every week while the list your newsletter goes to stays the same.
Constant Contact segments by service, area and campaign
Constant Contact builds segments from contact details and custom fields. With the service a lead asked for, their ZIP code and utm_campaign on the contact, a segment can pick out everyone in one area who asked about furnaces this month, for an email that speaks to exactly them.
Welcome emails and automated series
Constant Contact can send a welcome email or start an automated series when someone joins a list. Whether a contact triggers it depends on how the contact was created, and some sources, such as imports, don't, which is one more reason to send leads as they arrive instead of in a weekly upload.
Reporting an agency can hand to a client
Agencies running local ads are asked the same question every month: what did the spend produce? With the campaign, the page and the A/B variant on every Constant Contact contact, the answer is a segment the client can open in their own account. If a Zap was ever paused, the Leads tab in LanderLab still has every submit.
