SendGrid on your landing pages
Plenty of lead gen shops and SaaS teams send everything through SendGrid: receipts, password resets and the nurture emails that turn a paid lead into a customer. When the landing pages live somewhere else, the leads usually travel by CSV or through a Zap, and either one adds delay and a place for leads to fall out.
LanderLab's webhook posts each lead to SendGrid's Marketing Campaigns contacts API, so it joins the list you choose as the form is sent, with no connector to pay for. The campaign, the variant and every quiz answer can ride along as SendGrid custom fields.
It suits debt relief, insurance and home services lead gen nurturing by email, ecom brands that run their newsletter on Marketing Campaigns, and SaaS teams keeping product and marketing email in one Twilio account.
Paid leads into SendGrid Marketing Campaigns
A lead who just asked about cutting their debt or comparing auto rates is as warm as they'll ever be. When the page sends them to SendGrid the moment they submit, the automation tied to that list can send the first email right away, while they still remember filling the form.
SendGrid processes contact updates in the background and confirms each request with a job ID, so a new contact can take a short while to show in the list. The lead itself is also stored in LanderLab's Leads tab, so there's always a record to check against.
SendGrid custom fields that keep the source of every lead
SendGrid contacts take reserved fields like first and last name, postal code and state, and custom fields for everything else. That's where the context of the click goes: the campaign and source from hidden fields, the page, the variant, the answers from the quiz.
With those on every contact, a SendGrid segment can show what one ad set produced, or send a different follow-up to homeowners and renters, without anyone matching spreadsheets.
Send only the leads that should get the emails
Not every form fill belongs on a nurture list. In LanderLab Workflows (beta), a Lead trigger on your pages, a Filter on the answer that matters (debt over $10k, homeowner yes) and an HTTP Request node to SendGrid keep the list clean. A Switch can send different answers to different lists, and a Delay can hold a lead back before it's added.
