Zapier on your landing pages
Zapier is the bridge to the long tail: the niche CRM, the client's practice management system, the dialer, the spreadsheet with a macro someone built in 2019. LanderLab has its own app in Zapier's directory, so every lead from a landing page or quiz funnel can start a Zap and reach whatever tool the job needs.
Its New Lead trigger fires when a visitor submits the form on the landing page you pick, and the Zap takes it from there, with the lead's fields ready for every step that follows. There's no webhook to set up on the page and no address to paste.
LanderLab's New Lead trigger in Zapier
LanderLab is an app in Zapier's directory, and its New Lead trigger fires whenever a visitor submits the form on the page you choose. From there the Zap is yours: create the record in the client's CRM, add the row, send the text, alert the rep. Filter by Zapier can drop leads that don't qualify, and Paths can split them by answer.
Because the trigger belongs to LanderLab's own Zapier app, there's nothing to wire on the page itself: no webhook, no secret address, no key names to keep in sync. You build the whole thing in Zapier, where the rest of the Zap lives.
Zapier for the niche tools in your stack
The CRM a client insists on, a niche dialer, your team's project board: when a tool has a Zapier app but no LanderLab integration, a Zap gets each lead there the moment it comes in.
That's the honest case for Zapier on a lead gen stack. It's the long-tail adapter. For the tools LanderLab already connects to, such as HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Klaviyo or Google Sheets, the direct integration is one less hop and one less bill.
When you want to shape the payload yourself
Sometimes a Zap needs a payload you control: specific key names, a static source tag, or LanderLab's own fields, the page URL, the A/B variant, the visitor IP and the submission time, which a buyer asks for when a lead is disputed. For that, the page's Webhook integration can post each lead to a Webhooks by Zapier Catch Hook instead, with exactly the fields you pick. Webhooks by Zapier is on Zapier's paid plans, not the Free plan.
When you don't need Zapier at all
Zapier bills by tasks, and every step between your page and the destination is one more place for a lead to stall. If the destination has an API, LanderLab's webhook can post the lead to it directly, in the exact format it expects, with your API key in a header. If you need routing, such as only US leads or only finished quizzes, LanderLab's Workflows (beta) has Filter, If, Switch and Delay nodes and actions for the common tools, with a Runs view that shows each lead's path.
Use Zapier where it's the only way to reach a tool. On a cheap lead, every task fee comes out of your margin.
