Attio integration

Every demo request your ads bring in becomes a People record in Attio, matched on email, so a returning visitor updates one record instead of creating three.

Why connect it

Why Attio and LanderLab

  • One person per email, however often they submit

Attio matches People on email_addresses, its unique attribute. Repeat submits update the same record instead of creating duplicates.

  • Attribution as real attributes

UTMs, the click ID, the landing page and the A/B variant become attributes on People, so views and filters can split by campaign.

  • Clean data in, because Attio checks it

Attio validates emails and phone numbers on the way in, which keeps junk from paid traffic out of your workspace.

  • Your answers, your data model

Company size, use case, role: each quiz answer fills the attribute you designed for it, not a generic notes field.

  • No Zapier between page and CRM

The page calls Attio's API itself. No middleware plan, no task count, no extra point of failure.

Attio on your landing pages

B2B buyers click more than once. They see a LinkedIn ad, come back through Google, then sign up for the webinar. Most form-to-CRM setups turn that into three records with three half-stories. Sending your LanderLab leads to Attio asserts a person on their email address: the first submit creates the record, every later one updates it.

It suits startups and B2B teams that run their go-to-market from Attio and buy traffic for it: demo pages on LinkedIn and Google, launch waitlists, an agency's own new-business funnel. LanderLab's webhook calls Attio's API directly, so there's no connector to pay for, and each person arrives with the campaign and page variant as attributes you can filter on.

Attio People records, matched on email

Attio's API can create or update a person in one call, matching on email address, the unique attribute on People. If nobody has that email, Attio creates the person. If someone does, Attio updates them instead, so the prospect who clicked a LinkedIn ad last month and a Google ad today stays one record with the newest answers.

Attribution your Attio views can filter on

Add text attributes to People for utm_source, utm_campaign, the landing page and the page variant. Hidden fields fill the UTMs from the ad's URL, LanderLab adds LL Lander URL and LL Variant ID, and a view of People filtered by campaign shows what each ad set delivered.

Adding the person to a pipeline list is a separate step in Attio, done by hand or with Attio's own automation. That keeps the decision of who's a real opportunity with your team, not with the form.

Data Attio will accept, and you'll trust

Attio is strict about what it stores. Email addresses must be valid, phone numbers need a country, and names come as first, last and full. For a team that buys traffic that's a feature: bot submits and typo'd addresses fail at the door instead of polluting the workspace you run your pipeline from. Every lead is still kept in LanderLab's Leads tab.

Judge landing pages on the people they bring

A cheaper cost per lead means little if the people behind it never take a meeting. With the page variant on every Attio record, a view of People grouped by variant shows what happened next: replies, meetings, deals. Keep the page that brings the right people, even when its form fills cost a little more.

Use cases

Ways to use Attio on paid traffic

  • 01

Demo requests from LinkedIn and Google

A demo page asks for role and company size. Each request asserts a person in Attio with the campaign attached, and the founder or AE reviews new People by campaign each morning.

  • 02

    Launch waitlists

A waitlist page on Meta collects email and use case. Repeat signups update the same person, so the list you invite from has one row per human, with the ad that found them.

  • 03

    An agency's own new-business funnel

Your agency's audit offer runs on LinkedIn and Google. Every request lands in your own Attio with the page variant, so you can tell which offer page brings the clients who sign.

FAQ

Attio integration FAQ

Anything not here, ask us.

Attio and LanderLab

Should I connect Attio to my landing pages?

Yes, if you run sales from Attio. Leads land as People records matched on email, with the campaign and variant as attributes, and repeat visitors don't create duplicates.

Does LanderLab integrate with Attio?

Yes, through the page's Webhook integration: on every submit it calls Attio's API to create or update a People record matched on email.

Will a returning lead create a duplicate in Attio?

No. The record is matched on email address, so Attio updates the existing person when the email is already there.

Do I need Zapier to send leads to Attio?

No. The page calls Attio's API itself, so a returning visitor's record is matched and updated in the same call.

Can Attio see my UTMs and quiz answers?

Yes. UTMs from hidden fields, the A/B variant and each quiz answer can each fill an attribute on People.
