Google Analytics 4 on your landing pages
You don't need GA4 to know how a landing page converts: LanderLab reports views, leads and conversions for every page and every variant on its own. What GA4 adds is the wider picture. With your Measurement ID saved in LanderLab once, the Google Analytics script goes on the pages you choose, and your paid landing pages report into the same property as your main site, your blog and your store.
That matters when the landing page is one stop in a longer journey: an advertorial that sends readers to a Shopify checkout, a demo page that hands off to a product signup, a lead gen site where some visitors come back later through search. It matters for Google Ads too, which can import a GA4 key event as a conversion and bid toward it.
Google Analytics 4 on your landing pages, from one Measurement ID
LanderLab adds the Google Analytics script from your Measurement ID, saved to your LanderLab account once and reused on every page, and when a page runs an A/B test you choose which variants load it.
There's no snippet to keep in a notes file and paste into every new advertorial.
Paid leads in the same reports as your site
Point your landing pages at the GA4 property your main site uses and paid traffic sits in the same reports as organic search and direct visits. The UTMs on your ads split the visits by source and campaign, so you compare a Meta campaign with the rest of your traffic without leaving GA4.
GA4's enhanced measurement can also record scrolls, outbound clicks and form interactions on its own, which helps when the landing page is a step on the way to another site.
GA4 key events for Google Ads bidding
GA4's recommended event for a lead is generate_lead, with an optional value and currency. Sent from a thank-you page, or from the quiz's JS Code tab when the quiz is submitted, it can be marked as a key event and imported into Google Ads as a conversion. Google Ads then bids toward the visitors who fill your form, not only the ones who click.
Give the event a value that reflects what a lead is worth to you, and value-based bidding has something real to optimize for.
GA4 next to LanderLab's own numbers
Use each for what it's best at. LanderLab's reports and heatmaps tell you which page and which variant win, and how visitors behave on it. GA4 tells you what happens around the landing page: where the visitor came from, which other pages they saw, whether they came back.
Expect the totals to differ. Each tool counts its own way, and GA4 only records visitors whose browser loads Google's script and, where you run a consent banner, who allow analytics.
